What is hard wax?
Hard wax is a type of wax with a thicker consistency than soft wax (strip wax) and works by hardening while on your skin to allow removal, which is where it gets its name. This form of hair removal tends to make the process a lot less painful with most clients.
What to expect

Waxing aftercare
As mentioned before with how to prepare, exfoliating and moisturizing are key to maintaiNing the best results of your services. If you don’t have any products to help keep your skin at its best, we have amazing products in suite ready for purchase.
Make sure for the first 24-48 hoursyou avoid:
*Heavy sweating, friction of serviced area or any activity that can allow moisture to sit on the skin. This means stay away from gyms/workouts, swimming, baths, hot tubs, intimate activities, prolonged periods of sun exposure.
How to prepare
Make sure you are properly exfoliating and moisturizing the area(s) you are scheduled for. This means regardless if you are a first time client or a regular, you should be using good quality exfoliant on the area 2-3 times per week for the body and 1-2 times for face. Exfoliating regularly helps makes sure there’s not dead skin cells that can cause added discomfort in the removal. Also moisturizing with a non pore clogging, film-free product daily to help keep the skin and hair softened for easier removal. For best results, this process should be started at least 2 weeks before your appointment.
Wear loose, breathable clothing. Avoid caffeine, drink plenty of water and if approved by for PCP, taking ibuprofen about 30 minutes before your appointment can also help make your services a more pleasant experience.
Brow tint & lamination aftercare
For the first 24-48 hours make sure to:
Keep the area clean: It is important to keep the serviced area clean for longevity of results and freshness. Gently clean the area with mild oil free cleanser and water.
Avoid picking or scratching: Do not pick or scratch at the treated area, as this can lead to infection and may cause the pigment to fade or become uneven.
Avoid direct sun exposure: Avoid exposing the treated area to direct sunlight or tanning beds for the first 24-48 hours after. Sun exposure can cause the pigment to fade or become discolored.
Hydrate the brow area with an oil free product to keep brow tint looking fresh, IF DOING LAMINATION ONLY, condition brows with our conditioning brow oil daily.
Avoid saturating brows with water. Avoid activities that may cause sweating or irritation to the treated area, such as exercise or hot showers, for the first 24-48 hours.
Avoid makeup: Avoid wearing makeup on the serviced area for at least a few days after your appointment. If you need to wear makeup, be sure to use a gentle, oil-free formula and avoid rubbing.
Skincare Dos and Don’ts
Limit sun exposure as much as possible for 1-2 weeks after your facial.
Always wear spf of 30 or 50 and be sure to reapply as directed by manufacturer recommendation. Preferably separate from a moisturizer to ensure proper coverage and protection is achieved- don’t forget earsand back of the neck in application!
